Customer Reviews

I have 3 daughters ages 9, 10, and 12. They have tried making bracelets before and got bored very fast. Not the case with this item. They have had it for over a month now and are still creating bracelets. I have had to purchase more string for them but the foam discs have held up very well. They have also learned different patterns and made their own. This is a great rainy day activity even though my girls have sat on the porch on nice days and weaved away. Easy to learn, hard to put down.

Let me just first say that I bought this to make bracelets with my 3 year old daughter. She has been into the simple stringing of beads to make bracelets and I thought this might be fun for her. Not only is it fun for her, its fun for me too. She needed my help for the first bracelet, but now she can make them on her own and they come out perfect every single time. We got this less than a week ago and she has already made over 10 bracelets on her own. I love that it comes with 4 different designs. The only thing I wish was there were additional designs you could buy!! Other than that, this is an awesome product and should it ever need replaced due to wear & tear, I definitely wouldn't mind! My son got this for Christmas. He is too young to actually play with it but I and his father love it and crack up every time we play with it. When people come over they too love playing with it. When I looked into getting more I was disappointed in finding the colors are geared to girls, my husband has nixed the others because of that. Wish FP would make some more in "boy" colors.

I absolutly love these toys! they are the cutest things i have ever seen! while out Christmas shopping this year, i saw them for the first time. i was all by myself and played with them for atleast 10 minutes while trying to decide whether to buy it for my son. i decided against it, and started walking away. a few steps away i turned around and went back to play with it again for like 5 more minutes, again remember I WAS ALONE, i am in my 30's but i think they are sooo cute, and fun to play with!! (i'm sure people in the store who saw me thought i was crazy, because i was standing in the isle sqeezing them all, laughing & giggling outloud like a little kid) in my opinion, the only downside is that they only come in colors that are geared toward girls, but who really cares. this may get deleted from my review, and i buy from Amazon.com all the time, but this toy is less then 1/2 of this price if you buy them anywhere else! sorry Amazon, but not worth that much $$$! oh yeah, and when they sing and their mouths open, you can see they have teeth and a tongue. my son, who is 15 months, likes to stick his finger in its mouth so that he can feel its teeth, like i do to him. (same 4 teeth he currently has, 2 top and 2 bottom front) Read  More...

Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Arch for Car Seats and Strollers

The sunny stroll arch is a developmental fun for baby on the stroll. It easily attaches to strollers and baby carriers. This has two stage developments. It has a transparent sun prism and flexible arch with angle adjustment. This has a rattling butterfly ball with crinkly texture.

This arch has a really secure and easy to use attachment mechanism, and some snappy bal joints that let you position it firmly forward and backward, and even adjust the height. I have owned the cloth covered ones from tiny love also with glorified clothespin ends which don't stay attached very well, and can say that this plastic version is much much nicer. To compare, those arches came with musical wind up mobiles which this doesn't, but who needs music on a mobile when you have an ipod.

The toys on this are fascinating to my 3 mo old twins. They both love the rattly ball attached to the propeller, and love spinning the propeller, though they don't quite know how to pull the ball strongly enough to make the propeller go -- but they do try, and grab at the ball all the time. They also gaze through the transparent prismatic " sun" plastic, and one of them loves batting at the spinning ball in the butterfly. The extra hanging toys on the sun, and butterfly are hung on with velcro, so later on you could swap them out with other toys that could loop through. I think though that the propellor will go a long way with mechanical minded babies. One toy so far where I wouldn't change a thing.Read  More...

Fisher-Price Imaginext Sky Racers Carrier

Imagine you're at sea on a busy air carrier when two airplanes appear on the horizon. The call goes out to raise the carrier tower and expand the runway for landing. Sky Racers Carrier is the center of Imaginext Sky Racers adventure by air and by sea - and you decide what happens next. Just turn the activation points to expand the runway for take-off, activate the plane elevator, and more. Launch flying disks from the carrier tower; fire the buoy blasters. Includes two buoy blasters, eight disks, two crew figures with removable airman suits, two landing flags, satellite dish and crane. Accessories store below deck. No batteries required.

I bought this for my 5 1/2-year-old grandson. He really enjoys playing with this. It is much larger than I expected it to be but it is a nice size. Not realizing that two small planes came with it, I also ordered two planes that are much larger. My grandson has so much fun playing with them that I ordered a third larger plane, and now I am preparing to order yet another larger plane to go along with the other three. Read  More...

Beyblade Metal Fusion Super Vortex Battle Set Review

The Beyblade Metal Fusion Battle Set is an engaging, twenty-first century version of the classic game Battling Tops. Modern details and rules of engagement, along with customizable designs and a concave playing field, will have kids aged eight years and up at the top of their game in no time.
Customized Tops Battle it Out

The Metal Fusion Battle Set relies on rip cord-powered launchers that propel two metal-rimmed tops into a specialized battle arena. Two tops, Lightning L-Drago and Storm Pegasus, are included in the set, and many additional Beyblade tops are sold separately.

The trick to Metal Fusion is to build a five-piece top with all the qualities necessary to outlast your opponent. The set contains both a left- and right-spinning top, so you can strategize and create collisions that slow down a fast-spinning top or boost a slower one. Kids will have to use their brains to work out the combinations of spin direction, height, wheel shapes, and tip types that ensure victory.

Concave Arena Puts You in the Center of the Conflict

The Beystadium battle arena features a concave design that naturally directs each top into the center area where contact is inevitable. The battle arena is made of plastic, and though it's designed for conflict, its lightweight material may show wear and tear with extended rough play.

Several Play Options

Combatants can choose from several launch techniques to gain advantage over one another. For example, using the Sharpshooter technique, one player launches a top directly at its rival as it enters the stadium. Or using the Shield technique, players make their tops spin faster by launching them in alignment with the arena wall.

Rules of Battle help to ensure fair play, and advanced players can follow Power Spirit Rules to invoke five-second Launch Delay and the weak-hand Reverse Launch rule. With multiple play options, Metal Fusion will keep your kids engaged for hours.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Magnetic Responsibility Chart Review

Help kids understand the concept of behavior and rewards. This entertaining, magnetic activities board feature the innovative combination of magnets and wood. Includes a dry-erase board and 134 magnets depicting behaviors and rewards. Measures 16" x 12" when closed; 16" x 24" when open.

Reviews
  1. I bought 2 of these for my 3 and 5 year olds after reading these reviews. But I couldn't find a review that stated the titles of the responsibilities for those of you wanting to know if it will work for you; which for most it should cuz it covers most. Here they are: get ready for bed, get dressed, take bath, cear table, put toys away, keep hands to self, share, brush teeth, stop whining, apologize, say please, thank you, help with indoor/outdor chores, no teasing, show respect, load/empty dishwasher, put clothes in wash, don't use bad language, set table, take care of pet, do homework, make bed, clean room, take out trash, keep hands to self, plus 2 blank to write your own.

My 5 year old took to it right away as we placed all her responsibilities on the board. She was soooo excited and said I'm going to do that more, etc. She even added some resp. she usually wouldn't do, cuz she wanted to get more magnets; so at the end of the week we count them, assign a monetary allowance for each magnet earned (maybe 5 cents), and she can get a little toy or treat at end of week. I figured with 7 days a week and 10 resp. she could earn around 3.50 week; that's big to her right now!!
  2. I bought this for my 4 year old and after a few days, decided to also buy one for my 2 year old. They love them! They like working for "smilies" and make sure to do everything on their list to fill up their columns. I have also considered setting up an allowance or reward system if they get all 6 smilies for the day. My mom made a similar checklist for me when I was a kid, but this is so much easier to use and it looks a lot nicer hanging on the wall. I have been very pleased with all the Melissa & Doug products I have purchased, this is no exception!
  3. I love this chart. I love the categories you can choose from (stay dry, no hitting, no whining) and the fact that you can write in your own. My son loves the bright colors and designs and likes putting his reward magnet in the right space. I do think it has helped my son learn what our family expects. You can store all the extra magnets on the bottom half, but it looks messy so I prefer to use that section as a dry-erase message board and store the extra magnets in a baggie... just my opinion! This is well worth the money if you're looking for a chore or responsibility chart.

X-Men, Volume Three (Marvel Collection)

Product Description
The X-Men are back for more nonstop thrills and excitement in Volume 3 of the definitive animated series. Faithfully created from the pages of the original Marvel comic books, these classic stories are a must have for any X-Men fan.

When the all powerful Dark Phoenix inhabits the body of Jean Grey, the X-Men go to battle in order to save one of their own. Get into the action with 15 spine-tingling episodes, including the 4-part Dark Phoenix saga in this collectible 2-disc set.

Customer Reviews
I am a child of the '90's, growing up in a time when television was in something of a golden age -- the action was kicking harder, the humor was getting funnier but was still fresh and clean, and landmark shows such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" were getting their starts. Among this age, FOX network created FOXkids!, a viewing block that aired in the afternoons after school let out and also on Saturday mornings. Within this time, "X-Men: The Animated Series" came into being.

Dealing with large social issues such as prejudice and good vs. evil, "X-Men", like the comics the show was based on, wrapped these issues in fun packaging with "mutants" and "super powers." Going on to be one of the most successful cartoons in FOX's history, "X-Men" ran for a phenomenal five seasons. This is the first time that these beloved episodes are available in high-quality DVD format.

Volume Three of this collection picks up where Volume Two left off -- the Phoenix Saga, one of the greatest of all comic book story arcs. Jean Grey joined with the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force and sacrificed her life to save the universe. Now, the Phoenix has been driven mad by Jean's humanity and her telepathic powers, helped by the mental manipulations of the sinister Inner Circle club, beginning the start of the epic Dark Phoenix Saga.

Follow the X-Men as they fight for Jean Grey's soul, as Apocalypse rises and the battle not only evil but prejudice and social adversity time and time again. Featuring everyone's favorite comic characters (from Nightcrawler to Iceman to Archangel, to Cable and Apocalypse and Magneto), Volume Three will continue to delight fans of both comic and show.

Although there are regrettably no special features, these DVD collections -- with a price tag of $15 a piece -- are well worth collecting as a shining example of a time when television was more than just reality shows and sexual humor; a time when the media was relevant.

This is a great toy and my little ones love them, I am angry that all these vendors are selling them for so much, be patient and go to Toys r us or Walmart, they are priced at $8.00. Because they are not in stock every where these greedy people are taking of advantage of Parents looking for the perfect gift!

Got this today for $8 at Walmart. Super fun and cute for my 2 1/2 year old twins BUT within 20 minutes they removed the heating vent cover and dropped it in my duct work where it is now running around..so keep away from the vents HA! And don't spend this much $$ on them...

Customer Reviews
I had been looking forward to this blaster's release and now that it's out I must say it lives up to expectations. It is well made and has some improvements from the other N-Strike blasters. 1. Arming the blaster with a shotgun like manner makes it easier to load. My 4 year old likes it because he can cock the blaster. 2. The drum-mag. is nice because you can shoot near 6x the other CS blasters. 3. The stock is sturdy compared to the Recon's. In fact I like that it interchanges to the Recon and makes a pretty Bad @$$ looking blaster. I purchased the second blaster the next day because it is easier for my son (4 yr. old) to play with and we can run around having a Nerf fight. It is durable enough to take his punishment and has the high-capacity magazine that he can shoot and not get frustrated having to reload every 10 seconds. The Downside is that the Drum is such a high-capacity that it does take a bit to load up. The Drum also makes the blaster a little unbalanced, using a standard clip the gun makes it well balanced and sleek.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Widescreen Edition) (2007)

Amazon.com
Alas! The fifth Harry Potter film has arrived. The time is long past that this can be considered a simple "children's" series--though children and adults alike will enjoy it immensely. Starting off from the dark and tragic ending of the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix begins in a somber and angst-filled tone that carries through the entire 138 minutes (the shortest of any HP movie despite being adapted from the longest book). Hopes of winning the Quidditch Cup have been replaced by woes like government corruption, distorted media spin, and the casualties of war. As the themes have matured, so have the primary characters' acting abilities. Ron (Rupert Grint), Hermione (Emma Watson), and especially Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) are more convincing than ever--in roles that are more demanding.

Harry is deeply traumatized from having witnessed Cedric Diggory's murder, but he will soon find that this was just another chapter in the continuing loss he will endure. Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) has returned and, in an attempt to conceal this catastrophe from the wizarding public, the Ministry of Magic has teamed up with the wizard newspaper The Daily Prophet to smear young Potter and wise Dumbledore (Michael Gambon)--seemingly the only two people in the public eye who believe the Dark Lord has returned. With no one else to stand against the wicked Death Eaters, the Hogwarts headmaster is forced to revive his secret anti-Voldemort society, the Order of the Phoenix. This welcomes back characters like Mad-Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson), kind Remus Lupin (David Thewlis), fatherly Sirius Black (Gary Oldman), and insidious Severus Snape (Alan Rickman), and introduces a short list of intriguing new faces. In the meantime, a semi-psychotic bureaucrat from the Ministry (brilliantly portrayed by Imelda Staunton) has seized power at Hogwarts, and Harry is forced to form a secret society of his own--lest the other young wizards at his school be left ill-equipped to defend themselves in the looming war between good and evil. In addition, Harry is filled with an inexplicable rage that only his Godfather Sirius seems to be able to understand.

This film, though not as frightening as its predecessor, earns its PG-13 rating mostly because of the ever-darkening tone. As always, the loyal fans of J.K. Rowling's books will suffer huge cuts from the original plot and character developments, but make no mistake: this is a good movie. --Jordan Thompson

Product Description
Lord Voldemort has returned, but few want to believe it. In fact, the Ministry of Magic is doing everything it can to keep the wizarding world from knowing the truth - including appointing Ministry official Dolores Umbridge as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. When Professor Umbridge refuses to train her students in practical defensive magic, a select group of students decides to learn on their own. With Harry Potter as their leader, these students (who call themselves "Dumbledore's Army") meet secretly in a hidden room at Hogwarts to hone their wizarding skills in preparation for battle with the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters. . New adventure - more dangerous , more thrilling than ever - is yours in this enthralling film version of the fifth novel in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. A terrifying showdown between good and evil awaits. Prepare for battle!

Banzai The Plunge

Product Description
From the Manufacturer
Take the plunge down this huge 9½ ft-tall inflatable water slide and into the giant, refreshing pool below. Roomy enough to fit family and friends, the 12-ft diameter pool is sure to make a big splash. With the included continuous-airflow blower motor, a whole backyard pool party inflates in less than three minutes. Simply connect your garden hose and let the fun begin.
Product Description
Take the plunge all summer long with the huge 22' long Banzai "The Plunge" water slide and pool. Powered by a continuous-airflow blower motor, it inflates in less than 2 minutes into one of the longest inflatable slides you'll ever see in a backyard.

Connect any garden hose to the slide to make a big splash. Dura-Tech fabric construction for lasting durability for years to come. Slide inflates in less than 2 minutes and the blower is safe to use while water is running! Included blower motor features a 24' (732cm) long power cord and GFCI switch for maximum safety. Repair kit included. Measures 257"L x 144"W x 114"H. Maximum weight capacity 200 lbs.

We have owned 4 or 5 of the banzai water slides over the past 3 years. A couple didnt last more than a season and a couple got returned. This one is by far, the best weve had! The huge pool at the bottom makes the whole slide!

We just had my daughters 5th birthday party and there were over 20 kids on this for 3-4 hours (ages 4 thru 10). I thoroughly inspected it afterwards and could see no signs of damage. Believe it or not, one of the dads at the party pulled out his iPhone and ordered one of these right from our backyard! Everyone was so impressed with it.

Today, my son and his friends (ages 7 thru 10) put it to the test and again, it held up beautifully. Let me tell you, they really, really had fun! You know how rough boys this age get! They even used mini boogie-boards on it!

Yes, it uses alot of water and therefore you are hesitant to turn it off until you are certain the kids are done for the day (when you turn it off all the water pours out)Weve had the fan blowing for 7-8 hours straight with no problems! We usually fill the pool for about an hour before we allow the kids on it, they say its much more fun when the pool is full. We leave it out on the grass to use the next day, but we move its location so it doesnt kill the grass. If we arent going to use it for a few days, we blow it up and let it dry (without the water) and then fold it up. No, it absolutely will not fit in the tiny bag it comes in, but we use a plastic toy box and its no problem.

Customer Reviews
This slide is amazing. We just got it two days ago and have been on it both days. I have a 5 year old and a three year old that absolutely adore this item. My three year old had no problem climbing the wall and sliding down. The only downside is that every kid in the entire neighborhood will be at your house. Very close supervision is needed because the lagoon pool does get quite deep and if you have boys....they get quite courageous. Set up once the hoses are connected is a breeze. Cleanup can be a little messy but well worth it. Have to have a bigger storage unit because the chances of fitting this back into the storage bag....Not happening. This is well worth the money. Fun for the whole family.

I got this for my daughters 2 and 3. The 2 year old liked the pool and the little slide my older daughter loved it all. She used the climbing wall and went down all by herself. She loves waterslides and this was a must have for her. I have only used it once so I don't know how well it holds up. I have another product the slide that goes into the easyset pool and it works great 3 years later. A few improvements that could be made is another drain in the pool, and a larger carrying bag. I bought a plastic bin with wheels and put vents in the lid to protect the slide while going in and out with it. IT NEEDS PLENTY OF DRYING TIME!!! No big drawbacks I just like to protect something this expensive so it's worth the [...] bucks for the bin to make sure it is safe.

Coraline (Single-Disc Edition w/ 3D) (2009)

Editorial Reviews
Amazon.com
A dark and creepy film about family relationships directed by Henry Selick of Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach fame, Coraline is based on the haunting book Coraline by Neil Gaiman. The first stop-motion feature shot in stereoscopic 3-D, Coraline features big-headed, stick-bodied animated characters with huge eyes and demonic grins set against menacing backgrounds and an undercurrent of spooky music. Coraline is a teenager who has just moved to an old house in the middle of nowhere with her writer parents and she is bored, bored, bored. Her only companions are an annoyingly talkative boy Wybie (short for Why Born), some eccentric neighbors from the theater and circus, and a strange, button-eyed doll with a marked resemblance to Coraline which Wybie found in an old trunk of his grandmother's. When Coraline finds an old door hidden behind an armoire and papered over with wallpaper, she convinces her mother to unlock it, only to find a wall of bricks. When Coraline revisits the door later that night, the bricks magically disappear and she discovers a strange pathway to another world where everything is just what she wishes for. In stark contrast to the real world where Coraline's parents just don't have time for her, her "Other Mother" and "Other Father" in this alternate world are the perfect loving, attentive parents who anticipate her every need and desire. Initially comforted and quite happy in this new world, suspicion that things may not be quite as they seem grows inside Coraline and her disquiet is furthered by the mute "Other Wybie" and a strange-talking cat that seems to move between both worlds. Eventually, Coraline discovers some dark secrets about her "other parents" and the seemingly perfect "other world," but it may be too late for her to escape back to the real world. Teri Hatcher is especially effective in her dual (voice) role as Mom and "Other Mom" and Dakota Fanning also gives a great performance as Coraline. Coraline is a disturbing, intriguing film that both captivates and frightens. (Ages 11 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

Product Description
ANIMATED-AN ADVENTUROUS GIRL FINDS ANOTHER WORLD THAT IS A STRAN GELY IDEALIZED VERSION OF HER FRUSTRATING HOME, BUT IT HAS SINIS TER SECRETS.

This uncommon animation starts with tween-aged angst, the kind that demands independence but still wants mom and dad close by. Her busy parents don't have much time for her, though, and her new, remote home doesn't offer much reward for her explorations (other than some rather kooky neighbors). So, even if it's not wholly conscious, Coraline wishes for a nicer place and parents that pay more attention.

As the movie's tagline says, "be careful what you wish for." Like Alice down the rabbit hole, Coraline finds a secret passage to a more magical place. Soon, however, the magic turns dark. That's where the brilliant animation really comes into its own. The stop animation (or at least the look of it) bring to mind Tim Burton with a macabre touch of Brothers Quay. You know your child best - skittish ones might find some of the imagery a bit much. Still, kids' stories (like Alice in Wonderland) have always had dark edges. That deliciously spooky sense, plus some great animation, really set this movie apart from the usual. -- wiredweird

Baby Spring Float Sun Canopy by Swimways

An adorable accessory for the Baby Spring Float. Three-position adjustable, removable canopy protects baby from the sun and folds for storage just like the Baby Spring Float. Features an adorable "rainy day ducky" design and includes a carry/storage bag. 34"L x 30"W x 3"H. 1.64 lbs. Ages 9 to 24 months.

We were able to use this float for the first time this weekend. Our son is almost 4 months old and appx 18 lbs so I wasn't sure if he was still going to be too small to use it. Once we put him in the right way (front and back sides are not marked), he had an absolute blast. He was able to lean forward (he can't hold himself up yet) over the inflatable cushion and put his arms around both sides. His toys were within his reach in the convenient mesh ring and the canopy kept ALL sun off him (he has red hair and is extremely fair). He was able to kick his legs and got lots of exercise. I would highly recommend this product to everyone- just be sure to keep a close eye on them if they can't hold themself up. LOVE IT and can't wait to use it again!

Rubik's Cube

The date is 1974. The place is Budapest, Hungary. Erno Rubik, an admirer of geometry and 3-D forms creates the world's most perfect -- and addictive -- puzzle. More than three decades later the Rubik's cube is still one of the best selling brainteasers. Whether it was full size or the smaller keychain version almost every child had this puzzle by in 1980 when it found worldwide success. Elementary school kids were seen solving it with their feet on "That's Incredible!", conspiracy theorists believed it was an Eastern bloc tactic to distract American youth from getting an education, and Cubaholics Anonymous was formally established to help cure the compulsive need to solve it.

For all of the hullabaloo, the Rubik’s Cube actually has a pretty straightforward premise. The faces of the cube are covered by nine stickers in six solid colors (one for each 2.25" side); when the puzzle is solved, each face is one solid color. Then you realize as you turn the rows and columns and see all the colors flash by that there are 43 quintillion possible pattern combinations (that’s 43 million millions), but just one right one. Maybe Cubaholics Anonymous wasn’t such a bad idea after all….

This Rubik’s Cube has reflective red, white, blue, yellow, green, and orange colored stickers with an official twenty-fifth anniversary sticker in the center white square. The cube is packaged in a clear hexagon box and includes a black display stand. There is also a solutions hint and game suggestion book, just in case. From the ManufacturerRubik's Cube® is the incredibly addictive, multi-dimensional challenge that has fascinated puzzle fans around the world since 1980. This completely redesigned gift package is a sure-fire, must-have collectable. As a special added bonus, a Free Rubik's Cube stand is included.

Customer Reviews
My children ages three and four already own just about every Leap Frog toy out there. I decided to purchase the Leapster for Christmas, because they have started to get into video and computer gaming and also enjoy their Leap Pad very much. I test ran the Leapster yesterday and I was really impressed. The color monitor turned out bigger than expected and the graphics are great. Everything is easily accessible thanks to the touch screen. The whole concept behind the product is definitely very similar to all the other Leap Frog items. The same voices and characters as in the Leap Pad books are used. Overall, the system is more than worth the money. I already ordered additional cartridges (Dora, Kindergarten) and can't wait until more will be available. Happy Holidays!

Okay I thought I was doing SO great. I found the color pixter in a store and bought it for my 6 and 5 year old. I bought all the color cartridges also. I thought I was done xmas shopping. Then yesterday at the store. What do I see but the Leapster. I almost felt ill. I didn't know what to do. So I went home and opened the pixter and put my batteries in and started to play. But let me tell you that toy is in that box so not even houdini himself could get it out unless he has a screwdriver. Yeap you need a screwdriver. ugh. First off the directions aren't that great. I was playing and trying to figure out the tool bar. Kinda hard. Then when I was trying to put clothes on Barbie they would land on her head and I would try to bring them down and the kept adding the same dress over and over onto the screen. I'm a smart women and I had a real hard time with this stuff. Then I was trying to do other things and theres NO education value at all to this. Expect if you like to doodle and draw. So off I went to buy leapster. I was thrilled I opened the box. NO SCREWS. It came right out. it turned on and its having me count, do my abc's learning money (spongebob cartridge) I thought I was going to have a hard time choosing. No way leapster is my gift to the kids. They will love it. There are more cartridges in color, like Dora and a baseball one and how to write. Leap frog explains everything you need to do. It has an AC adaptor if you want to buy one. You can put headphones in. The screen has adjustment. Pixter does not and its too light. Hard to see the object. Okay so if you hawing and hemming let my goof be your blessing! Its great. The only thing is that it says up to age 8. I really hope they make cartridges pass this age. Because I'm tired of buying leap baby, leap preschool, leap pad, leap pad plus writing. We need something to go with our child for a while. Please let it be this its so much more educational then a game boy! Thank you leapfrog you never disappoint. Back tommorow I go to return pixter and to find more leapster cartridges!!!!! Signed the leapster addict! j/k :) Merry shopping to ya all!

Melissa & Doug Cutting Food Box

This was a gift from Grandma for our 18 month old. Our daughter figured out how to cut a few months later. It's perfect for age two and up. She loves to cut up all the fruits, veggies, and bread. It comes with two cutting boards and two knives so a friend can play along too. It keeps her entertained for a long time and, as others have mentioned, teaches her the names of a few fruits and veggies along the way. Everything comes in a nice wooden box with a slide-on lid, which is great for storing all the pieces and for the fun of "in and out" of the box. My only complaint is that the velcro stickers which hold the pieces together are not compeletly durable. I've reglued a few of them, which has been no big deal to do. Overall a great toy, well priced, and nicely made.
